ACA Bylaws & Deductibility of Dues ACA members must pay dues according to the dues schedule adopted by the ACA Board of directors to be members in good standing. Dues to ACA are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. For the year you may deduct 90% of your dues. Pursuant to changes by Congress in federal lobbying law, we are required to make annual determinations and advise members that some of your dues are not deductible.
