SCF Arizona - Association Safety Program
a rewarding partnership

The Association Safety Program (ASP) is designed exclusively for SCF Arizona policyholders that are members of a trade association such as The Arizona Contractors Association, Inc., which partner with SCF to make workplaces safer. The objectives of the program are to help reduce injuries an to keep workers' compensation premiums as low as possible.

How its works
Businesses that are members of a partnering association such as The Arizona Contractors Association, Inc. and are SCF policyholders who are in good standing can apply for the Association Safety Program.

ACA will review and qualify a policyholder's eligibility.  Accepted applicants become eligible for a 10 percent rate deviation on their premium.  In addition certian policyholders may be eligible to share in a potential bonus safety dividend in addition to their potential individual dividend, if declared by the SCF Arizona Board of Directors.

Each participating ASP member maintains an individual policy and remains responsible to SCF for payroll and premium reporting.  The member may have an experience rating (e-mod), which may allow for a premium discount.

Maintaining a low e-mod and a proactive safety program such as ACA's helps policyholders keep their workers' compensation costs in check.

Payoff - ACA Program Success Report
Each year SCF's Board of Directors determines if dividends can be paid.  Dividends are never guaranteed.  If the Board declares a dividend, policyholders in an ASP such as The Arizona Contractors Association, Inc. may earn a bonus safety dividend in addition to any potential individual dividend, based on the association's safety success.  (The bonus safety dividend is calculated on the total premiums and losses of all participating association members)  Click here to see ACA's Safety Success

SCF provides complete workers' compensation insurance services.  SCF's toll-free claims reporting center makes it easy for policyholders and injured workers to report injuries.  SCF Arizona's Preferred Connection Network (PCN) is our statewide PPO comprising more than 2,600 medical providers that offer discounts from the Industrial Commission of Arizona Medical Fee Schedule.  Assistance in implementing a Return to Work/Stay at Work program is available to help lower claim costs and reduce premiums.  SCF Arizona has in-house fraud investigators and a toll-fee fraud hotline, and they work closely with the Arizona Department of Insurance to prosecute fraudulent workers' compensation cases to keep premiums low.
