What is it?

• It is a "win-win" plan for ACA to offer members the opportunity to lower their workers' compensation insurance by sharing in a group dividend.
  
• While dividends cannot be guaranteed, the Fund has paid them every year since its inception in 1969.

Why "Win-Win?"

• In addition to any earned individual dividend, the plan allows for participation in a group dividend. (The earned bonus dividend is calculated on the total premiums and losses of all participating members.) Regardless of the group results, the participating members are assured that they will receive no less than the amount they earn as individuals; therefore, they are in a win-win situation.

How Does It Work?

• Members of the ACA who are in good standing and who are policyholders with SCF are eligible for participation.
  
• The State Fund computes the dividend and distributes it in accordance to ACA instructions.
  
• Each participating member maintains an individual policy and remains responsible to the SCF for payroll and premium reporting. The member may have an individual experience rating and will be entitled to a premium discount on an individual basis, if eligible.

What Are The Benefits?

• The plan allows members the opportunity to share in an additional dividend through the ACA Dividend Pool.
  
• An active and unified approach to accident prevention can mean a larger potential dividend for members. By working closely with the SCF and ACA, members can pave the way toward safer operations and more meaningful dividend returns.

How Can You Participate?

• If you are a member of ACA and you are a SCF policyholder, but not yet a participating member, enroll now!
  
• If you are not currently a SCF policyholder, please fill out this quote form and send it to SCF.
  
• If you are a current member of ACA, enrolled in another association dividend plan, but would like to transfer to the ACA Dividend Pool, please state on company letterhead that your company would like to transfer to the Arizona Contractors Association Dividend Pool #108, complete the enrollment form and send it to the ACA State Office.

Q. When is the association dividend paid?
A. About the 10 month following the end of the ACA dividend year, which ends in June of each year.
Q. Will my individual policy be affected if I join the ACA Dividend Pool?
A. No. Your policy with the SCF remains exactly the same.
Q. If the ACA Dividend Pool has high losses, will I lose my earned individual dividend?
A. No. If you earned a dividend based on your own premiums and losses, you will receive that amount.
Q. Does enrolling in the ACA Dividend Pool cost me anything?
A. No, but you must be a member of ACA.
Q. Who decides whether or not my policy is accepted into the ACA Dividend Pool?
A. The ACA president/CEO or the director of safety reviews all enrollment forms.
