    Grassroots Network

    AZCA is Your United Voice in Government - The AZCA lobbying team represents the construction industry before state and local governments. We focus our effort around Public Policy and Economic Development issues. AZCA influences government with our active membership engaged in our political efforts. Our Grassroots Network is our online tool designed to keep our members informed of government activities. Through the Network, AZCA members can express to public officials our questions, concerns and opinions on industry issues. Our Political Action Committee, AZCAPAC helps our industry elect those who support our issues

    ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
    Building Arizona Since 1956

    AZCA emphasizes our focus on promoting the construction industry our state, cities and towns to expand and attract businesses. AZCA works with state and local economic development organizations with developing strategic plans for economic development while representing the construction industry as a whole. AZCA assists with marketing our state, cities and towns as locations for business relocation and expansion. AZCA advocates for economic development policy designed to facilitate new business opportunities. In doing so, the relocation of businesses and the expansion of existing firms create new jobs for our industry and our state, and generate revenues for infrastructure projects to better accommodate growth and to minimize taxes.

    EVENTS REGISTRATION

    AZCA conducts several events annually, including informative educational seminars, luncheons, and networking opportunities. Signature events include our Annual Membership Meeting and our Annual Golf Classic.

    AZCA's social events offer member firms the opportunities to entertain clients, engage co-workers, and create and maintain business relationships within the construction industry. Join us at an upcoming AZCA event!

Our Staff

David N. Jones

President/CEO
David joined the ACA staff in April 1998. He brought 20 years of progressively responsible corporate, public administration and management experience to the position. He served as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives and was a member of the Indianapolis City-County Council. David also served as vice president of corporate affairs for two, large general contractors in Indianapolis.

 

Brett A. Jones

Vice President of Operations
Brett joined the ACA staff in January 1999. Previously, he was the director of legislative affairs for the Indiana State University Student Government Association. In 1997, Brett completed a successful and extensive internship with the Indiana Manufacturers Association Governmental Affairs Department. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Supervision from Indiana State University in 1998. Brett completed training in 1999 for the OSHA #500 Train-the-Trainer course administered by the United States Department of Labor. In the fall of 2000, Brett received his certificate for Design-Build 101 from the Design-Build Institute of America. In 2002, Brett completed the Dale Carnegie Course and was recognized by his classmates and instructors by receiving the Outstanding Performing Award.  In 2007 Brett was promoted to Vice President of Operations, in addition Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano appointed him to the Board of Directors of SCF Arizona, the state's leading workers' compensation provider.
